At ALPHA school which was opened in 1972 there is an interminable holiday of disobedience. There is no grades, no strict schedule and no homework. Nobody will be punished for writing curses on the blackboard, and nobody will control you. This is the main principle of this school that differ it from others. Pupils have to decide which classes to attend, and how to spend their day by their own. Classes are formed not based on the age as in other normal schools, but on hobbies and interests. The main teacher’s goal is just not to interfere. If there is some conflict situation, special committee consisting of pupils and teachers, gather and discuss the problem. Everybody is allowed to offer their point of view. The age and the kind of statements does not matter. The most important things are to find the solution together, and to show the children that they have equal rights with the teachers.
As to me, I think it is too much. Not every child is so responsible to control himself and to make himself study without any rules. On the other hand there are some kids who need such kind of studying in order to discover their skills.

Rules are for breaking. On the other hand, this kind of school will never be accepted in our country.
