The most famous Azerbaijani, plays more than 30, operas more than 10, poems and ballets more than 20,  comedies and novels, short stories more than 100, films more than 15, songs more than 15......etc, were made about,  is Don Juan.  His real name is Oruj Ali Bay. He was a soldier in Hamza Mirze's army. After getting somes success in army, he was sent to Europe as the head of delegation to take the support of Europe against Turkey. His last station was Spain. After giving Shah Abbas's letter to Spain king, he had to return to motherland. But he did not. He changed his religion and was christian. And his godmother was Spain queen Margarete. Spain king named him Don Juan. He forgote his wife and children. And he spent his days with different women in king's palace.Don Juan was a rogue and a libertine who takes great pleasure in seducing women  and enjoys fighting their men. Now, Don Juan is used synonymously for "womanizer," especially in Spanish slang.
