It was November 24, 1971, before Thanksgiving in the U.S. Dan Cooper, got on board the Boeing 727. Cooper sat down at the end of the aircraft to place C18. After the plane took off from the land of Portland, Cooper handed toFlorence Shafner, the flight attendant, a note. She thought that Cooper gives her his phone number, so put a note to her pocket. Cooper said: "Miss, you'd better take a look at the note. I have a bomb. " In the envelope was a note with the following contents: "I have a bomb in a briefcase. I want you to sit next to me. Your plane hijacked."Note contained a requirement to provide 200,000 dollars in unmarked bills and a two sets of parachutes. It also contained instructions on how to be delivered parachutes on the plane with the money, if demands are not met - the plane will be blown up. It was decided to cooperate with Cooper. The stewardess had to figure out if it was a real bomb. Sensing this, Cooper opened his briefcase for a moment to show Shafner 2 red cylinders, larger battery and wires, which convinced her that the bomb is real.Cooper asked her to say to the pilot not to land before the requirements are met.She went back to the cabin and gave "a request" to the pilot. The airport Air Traffic Control Broadcast that all reuirements had been done. Cooper allowed the pilot to land the plane at the international airport Seattle-Tacoma, Washington. The plane landed, and Cooper then ordered the pilot to steer the plane on a remote section and to switch off the lights in the cabin , so that the snipers could not see what is happening in the plane. Cooper asked the air traffic control to send a man with money and 4 parachutes to the plane. The employee brought the money and parachutes through the door at the rear of the plane. Cooper then released all the passengers and Shafner. However, the pilot, a second flight attendant, copilot and flight engineer were not released. After refueling, Cooper checked money and parachutes and asked to take oof the plane.During the second take off Cooper asked the stewardess, who sat before him, to go into the cabin and stay there. After some time Cooper tried to open the door. The crew began to notice a change in air pressure in the cabin. Cooper opened the door and jumped out of the tail of the plane. Since then, he never seen again. While Cooper jumped, the plane passed through a zone of strong storms. After two and a half hours after take off from Seattle-Tacoma,a Boeing 727 landed safely in Reno. The airport and runway were surrounded by FBI agents and local police. After communication with the pilot found that Cooper had disappeared. FBI agents boarded the plane to find at least some clue left behind. They have restored a few fingerprints and found two of the four parachutes. In 1980 father and son, Harold and Brian Ingram found on the shore of Columbia River a pack of old, faded a twenty bills. In total, they found six thousand dollars. Experts checked the serial numbers of their numbers of bank notes, issued by Cooper. For many, this was the proof that Cooper actually died during a jump, altough, according to his niece, Cooper died in 1999. I think, Cooper was very brave man. He hijacked the whole plane and jumped from plane. In my view, he did not die when he had jumped. You can asked then what about $6000? May be, he lost them when he was flying like a bird. He survived and spend the rest of his life with rest of money. He lived, in my view, very happy life and died ,as his niece said, in 1999.
