When anyone around us says 'vampire', the first person that comes to our minds is obviously, Edward Cullen or Ian Somerhalder. What's more important is, that the stories we've heard about vampires, till date, were totally contradicted by the author, and now we, especially the girls, are in love with vampires. Vampires, are they real? Are vampires real or myth? What if they are real? These are probably the first few questions that pop up, when it comes to discussing vampires. The mystery that surrounds them makes us even more inquisitive about them. So, let's find out answers to a few of the questions related to vampires, especially 'are vampires real or not' one.
Vampires, Are they Real?
This is a question that must have been discussed over a zillion times by people all over the world. We have known all about vampires through movies, books and stories. These mediums have portrayed vampires as per the vampire myths and legends, but the ones in real are a bit different than the ones in 'reel'. Real vampires are not blood suckers, they are not repelled by garlic or crosses and they can die just as any other human being. The myth that vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies is just a thing of the legends.Real vampires are living humans with certain abnormalities and heightened psychic abilities. Vampirism, considered by some as a paranormal phenomena. They do not really feed on blood or pick on people as their victims for feeding on their blood. They are just deficient in a kind of energy that they draw from people around them, using their heightened psychic abilities. It is true that vampires feed on blood, but not all vampires do so. Some drink blood just because it tastes delicious to them and some may drink blood since blood is known to be the greatest source of 'lifeforce'. Some people drink blood to affirm their belief, that they are indeed vampires. And no, they do not hunt down people to feed on blood as they obviously do not need to drink so much of blood at a time. Like I mentioned before, real vampires are human and not ghosts or supernatural beings. Therefore, garlic or crucifixes will certainly not ward them off, but you might come across some whose digestive systems are intolerant to garlic, just as any one human could be.
Supernatural Powers
Real vampires have no 'supernatural powers' or any such thing. They are just people with unusual psychic abilities, which you may find in people who are not vampires as well.
Sunlight
No, vampires do not die or burst into flames when exposed to sunlight. A few of them may just display some hypersensitivity to sunlight, which may cause a sunstroke or sunburn, like any other normal human being! Immortality
How can any human be immortal? Vampires may sure lead a longer life due their highly efficient immune system, but they are certainly not immortal. They do die!
